Award winning style in the Inner West
Blooming from Sydney's Glebe and headed by owner and creative director Desiree Buist, Partners Hair Workshop is undeniably the rose of the inner west. Desiree is a veteran of Australian Fashion Week, collaborating this year with Fashion Assassin, Leona Edmiston, Bowie, Nevenka and Wayne Cooper to style their lines.
"While I do get out, I'm mainly based in the salon creating an atomosphere where my clients, staff and I can relax," says Desiree.
Styled in a laid back Parisian theme, embellished in black, cream and silver with chandeliers, Partners salon is the zest of indulgence. "I like to think it feels like somewhere Coco Chanel would like to escape to if she had a few moments to herself." While Mademoiselle Chanel might not have sampled Partners teams pampering, Anthony Field and family, Monica Trapaga, Matthew Evans and Wallaby captain Phil Waugh regularly privilege themselves.
The salon uses products by Revlon, Redken, Pureology, Global Keratin and Kevin Murphy as well as Rituelle Beauty products such as soaps, lips balms and body butters. They also keep the latest collection of Adorne jewellery, purses & handbags and accessories, great gifts for that special person. Desiree personally recommends the Pureology range. The hair masks are brilliant at keeping hair in top condition. And in Desiree you'd trust, having toured Australia with the Schwarzkopf Professional team and styling editorial spreads for countless magazines.
